Statement of Beliefs
-
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human. He lived a sinless life, proclaimed the kingdom of God, gave Himself on the cross for our sins, and rose bodily from the grave. He ascended to the Father, reigns as Lord, and will return to make all things new.
John 1:1–14, Colossians 1:15–20, 1 Corinthians 15:3–4, Hebrews 4:14–15
-
We believe in one God who eternally exists as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person is fully God, yet there is one God. The Father, Son, and Spirit are united in glory, purpose, and love, working together in creation, redemption, and the renewal of all things.
Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, John 14:16–17, 2 Corinthians 13:14
-
We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God and our trustworthy authority for faith and life. Through Scripture, God reveals who He is, what He has done in Christ, and how His people are called to live. We seek to have every part of our life and ministry shaped by God’s Word.
2 Timothy 3:16–17, Psalm 119:105, Hebrews 4:12, 2 Peter 1:20–21
-
We believe the Holy Spirit is God and is present and active in the lives of God’s people. The Spirit brings new life, points us to Christ, helps us understand God’s Word, produces spiritual fruit, equips the Church with gifts, and empowers us to live faithfully for God’s glory.
John 16:13–14, Romans 8:9–14, Galatians 5:22–25, 1 Corinthians 12:4–7
-
We believe the Church is the people of God gathered around Jesus Christ, who is the head of the Church. We are called to worship together, grow through God’s Word and prayer, care for one another, practice hospitality, serve our neighbors, and share the good news of Jesus with the world.
Acts 2:42–47, 1 Corinthians 12:12–27, Ephesians 4:11–16, Hebrews 10:24–25
-
We believe salvation is entirely a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ. We are forgiven and made right with God not because of anything we have earned, but because of Christ’s life, death, and resurrection. In Christ we are justified, adopted into God’s family, and continually transformed by the Holy Spirit.
John 3:16–17, Romans 5:1–2, Ephesians 2:8–10, Titus 3:4–7
